Livestock Guardian Dogs

Six Livestock Guardians to choose from

2 years ago, Mother Moana pictured above had 9 puppies. She is from the Hunter Family Farm  of  Lawerenceburg, TN Anatolian Pyrenees Breeding stock of 6 generations crossed to breed out the bad traits of both breeds and retain the best genetic lines.

Today we have 4 of her well trained grown puppies available to care for your goats, sheep and chicken flocks or believe it or no, they will keep your orchards pest free, no raccoons, coyotes, squirrels, voles or rabbits survive their patrol.  The dogs need special care, food and lots of affection so for some leasing the dogs for a season is the best option.  We also have Angel - a distant relative available for breeding that can be matched up with one of the brothers for a recommended pair.

Angel

Sweet and timid until she takes on a coyote. She needs daily love and affection.

Tuffy

Really should have called him Houdini.  Smart, confident, loves to follow the farmer in the morning. You need a good fence for this one at night.

J.J.
(Short for Dr. J. Johnson - Vet)

Is not the sharpest tool in the shed but does great with another leader.  He needs daily affection and will follow the farmer in the mornings until chores are done and its time to take care of goats and sheep, Was a favorite on a Keto goat university project and they never saw a coyote or lost a goat.

Amanda

This is your rough and tumble girlfriend. Ready to breed.

Mr. Biggs

This is the most beautiful dog if you have a female to breed.  He is the chicken protector. Amazingly he watches the sky as well as ground for predators.  He took  out a Hawk trying to swoop down on one of his chickens.  He is not much interested in sheep or goats however he will take out your orchard pests.

 Alby

Alby is a loyal, loving protective giant. Very aggressive to strangers and just shear strength and size  is intimidating.  I do not recommend this dog for a farm with children.  This is a big dog that is all work and business. He needs a lot of attention from the Alfa Farmer on the Farm and will listen to directions perfectly from the Alfa. Otherwise you risk him becoming the Alfa. Does not do well with other large dogs but will protect your Chihuahua like a champ.
